Last evening we were deluged, and I don't take that term lightly! My gasping lawn and flower pots were doing the happy dance! Something in the rainwater makes flowers smile.

Last week KootsiQuilting was deluged with quilts! My marketing campaign at local farmers' markets paid off in a downpour.
And then my quilting machine went down.
It'll be back soon and the time is giving me a chance to catch up on other work, lose sleep worrying about client's turnaround and get the shop back in order. All good stuff and needed to be done but the fun is quilting.
It's a reality check to have a contingency plan ready. As a mom life was a never-ending series of them and so it continues.
